Family Weekend
Family Weekend
The Family weekend is open to all families, whether or not they have experienced the weekend for couples.
The aim of the Family weekend is to enable everyone to be aware of his or her role in their own home and the importance of their role in building the unity of the family.
The team leading the weekend is made up of two families and a priest or religious brother/sister, who have lived the couples weekend experience, assisted by one or more families who see to the logistical aspects.
It lasts from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. No overnight stay is required on site (in case of long journeys one family hosts another family). Lunches are “packed”.
The themes of the weekend are:
- the family
- ‘each person is unique’
- influences in our lives
- love asks for more
- obstacle to love
- family openness
- the new tradition
- the joy of being in the family.
Families with children from about 6 years old (they must be able to write) to any age (20 years or over, provided they still want to participate) can take part.
